We’re Here For You Too
If your partner has recently announced she’s pregnant, we’re here for you. We know you have questions about your future and what to do next. We can help.
First Things First
There are a few things you and your partner should do first.
- Confirm her pregnancy with a pregnancy test and ultrasound. You’ll want her to have an ultrasound to verify the pregnancy is growing and that she hasn’t miscarried (over one in four pregnancies ends in a miscarriage).
We offer free and confidential pregnancy services. - Learn your options. You have three choices for the pregnancy: having an abortion, making an adoption plan, or choosing to parent.
We can give you detailed information about each.
Abortion
We do not perform or refer for abortion. We can, however, provide factual information about abortion procedures and potential risks.
Adoption
We do not place children for adoption, but we can offer referrals to reputable, licensed adoption agencies in our area.
Parenting
We have many resources for couples choosing to either parent or co-parent. Take advantage of our Dads Teaching Dads program to learn about fatherhood and earn amazing baby items like a pack ‘n play, highchair, or stroller. Dads teach this 6-week course for soon-to-be dads. - Talk with your partner about your fears, concerns, and goals. It’s critical to keep the lines of communication open. No one should have to face an unexpected pregnancy alone.
