Are You Having Unusual Symptoms?

Every woman experiences pregnancy differently. Some women feel early pregnancy symptoms immediately, while others may not have symptoms for weeks or months. Let’s take a look at some of the more common pregnancy symptoms.

Early Pregnancy Symptoms

The following is a list of the most common symptoms:

  • A missed period
  • Frequent trips to the bathroom
  • Feeling tired
  • Nausea (Morning Sickness) which can happen at any time of the day or night
  • Sore and swollen breasts
  • Spotting (light bleeding)
  • Food cravings or aversions
  • A metallic taste in your mouth
  • Cramping
  • Mood swings
  • Congestion
  • Bloating
  • Acne or skin changes

Many of These Symptoms Could Indicate Something Else

Stress, increased exercise, rapid weight gain or loss, and a hormonal imbalance can cause a change in your menstrual cycle. Some of these symptoms, like mood swings and bloating, could indicate your period is about to start. Frequent trips to the bathroom could indicate a urinary tract infection.

Free and Confidential Pregnancy Testing

To confirm your pregnancy, start with a pregnancy test. Simple urine pregnancy tests are available at many local stores. Our resource center offers free and confidential pregnancy testing. You can set up an appointment or walk in. Most appointments last about an hour.

Even a positive result on a pregnancy test may not be enough information. If you are wondering if you’re pregnant, it’s vital to visit your healthcare provider. You may need to verify your pregnancy with an ultrasound. The Pregnancy Test & Resource Center can also provide a free ultrasound with a positive pregnancy test from our center.
